Getting out of jury duty I already commited to....
I committed to going to jury duty the first week of Feb. (I'm in NJ btw). But, I have an important ultrasound that I need to go to, and I want to postpone the jury duty. Do you think they will give me a hard time? Do I have to tell them my excuse, or is it my right to postpone it without an excuse? Thanks!

I believe you are allowed an adjournment.. and in all honesty, I would use the medical excuse if you need to.. you are also a SAHM and can say you have no one to watch your DD..

Bring your DD's birth certificate, I had to provide a copy to prove that I had a child who was under school aged.
