GRRRR I am freaking out DVR related!!
I am SO frekking p*ssed!!!! My DVR is effed up and nothing is recording even though it "says" it is recording. I think we fried it or something cause we cant rewind or stop real TV grrrrr.
They are SO lucky that True blood is replaying in 5 minutes or I would srsly be having a hissy fit LOL.

reset/reboot your box
This was happening to us more than once and we just have to reboot it and all started to work normal again

Also, the high definition HBO channel changed (750). True Blood didn't record last night because of this--we were able to catch it later on.

I knew about the HBO channel switch, but there is DEFINITELY something up with the DVR.
We just finished watching True Blood so DH is on the phone with them now.

We change out our boxes all the time. I don't think they are made to last that long. I would go to a walk in center and change the box.

same thing was happening to us -- and we just reset the box manually and it worked just fine.

This happens to my DVR on occasion and it's SO frustrating!

Do you have Cablevision
This has been happening to us for the last 2 weeks!
I go in and set shows, then go into the DVR the next day and they are all cancelled. We rebooted our box and it didnt work. Then we went and got a new box - it still hasnt worked! DH is calling Cablevision tonight to see what is going on
What happened when you called??

could it be an outside wire? our wires are underground and whoever was by the box on the street last didn't put a waterproof cap on or something like that - it was an easy fix .
We have had the same box for 4+ years.
