Has anyone ever "lost" the water trays that come with home catering? (NPR)
Ugh...I had the Christening party at my Mom's house on Sunday. I stacked up the sterno racks nicely and put the water trays on the side. Now she is saying she doesn't know where the water trays went. I am thinking maybe somebody threw them away?
Anyway, do you think I am looking at a big fee? The restaurant is closed today, so i can't call and ask...
blah.

I know they sell them at BJ's...and they're def not that expensive

Thanks. They charged a $50 deposit for the trays and racks, which is why I am  .

Trays are so cheap...you can find at a dollar store to replace.
Its the racks they really care about it.

I know they have them at Party City too..
I have the whole set up and I replace every so often. If they run dry they tend to burn and get icky.

Hm my dad owns a catering business and I know when we take deposit for the racks and trays we only take the racks back, we don't re use the tray since they get burnt and gross looking! Good luck
