has anyone had high fluid levels?
When I went for my 36 week ultrasound they said my fluid levels were high and now I have to go back weekly for monitoring. I've heard of a lot of people with low levels but what does having high levels mean? This wasn't at my regular doctor so I'm sure she can answer questions when i go next week but wanted to know what people knew/thought. .
other than that baby is looking good. . and is a whopping 5 lbs 14 ounces. . let's hope he doesn't gain too much the next few week!

I looked up some info on it before, and I think the main concern has to be with labor and your uterus becoming too distended, which can lead to complications when you give birth.
BUT I don't know how much that actually happens -- and perhaps you should ask on the parenting board if anyone gave birth after being told about high fluid levels.
Good luck!

ooh thanks for looking and for the suggestion. . that's a good idea!
I did end up googling too and it said it was often associated with congenital defects etc so I had to stop reading!
