Has anyone installed PBK roman shades in their DC's room?

Has anyone installed PBK roman shades in their DC's room?
How thick (front to back) is the headrail to mount the roman shades? I am trying to decide whether I need to do an inside mount or outside mount b/c my windows are not very deep from the actual window to the molding.
TIA!!!
ETA: If you did an outside mount with the roman shades can I see a picture? Did you cover the molding completely or let some of it show?

I actually have them in our MB, not DD's room. we did an outside mount bc the measurements worked better that way. The piece of wood is about an inch thick. They were very easy to install.
