? what were the results?
did insurance cover it?

Usually they do a lead test when they get their annual blood work done.
DS 1 tested within normal limits. I still not have gotten DS 2's blood work done.

They did this as part of DS's 1 year blood panel, so it was included in our copay for that visit. it was slightly (very very slightly) elevated; when we retested 6mos later it was normal... both were covered IIRC...

I don't know if it's the same thing but isn't this part of the bloodwork they do at a year? Don't they check for lead?
ETA: If it is the same thing, it was covered under our insurance.

Our ped does it with the annual bloodwork and so far both boys have been fine.
