Having a valentine dinner party, I need menu ideas
We will have 3 or 4 couples, no kids. I usually do some sort of theme. One year i did natural aphrodisiacs, one year I did red foods. This year all I have so far is red velvet cupcakes lol
Any recipe/ theme suggestions?

What about red and pink theme? I just saw something in Saveur. The recipes don't look that great, but were good for inspiration.
You can do a pink cocktail/mocktail - like a pomegranate margarita.
Maybe some crackers topped with goat cheese or brie and some sort of jelly.
Maybe spaghetti and meatballs with heart-shaped meatballs?

Bouncing off this idea - you can do a roasted beet salad with goat cheese and candied pecans over arugula salad
Nice juicy rare steak
Roasted Asparagus with cherry tomatoes
Ok, I have some green in there but I can't help it :)

Re: Having a valentine dinner party, I need menu ideas
I had a "love" themed bachelorette party for my bff.
I had love potion, passion fruit juice with vodka and red food coloring. I did red roses on the table, and red yankee candles around the room.
I just had apps for food.
ETA: You could do handcuffs and blindfolds as party favors.
