having my gall bladder out tomorow
It's being done outpatient which I am really happy about.
A little worried about recovery...anyone know how long until I'll be able to pick up DS again or just when I'll feel normal again.
While I am not happy about surgery, this gall bladder pain has been the worst thing ever and can't wait for it to be over.

Good luck with the surgery. It is really a pretty easy procedure, and fairly easy recovery. I believe when I had it done they told me not to pick up anything heavy (over 5 or 10 lbs.) for 2 weeks.

this may sound silly - but if you had a c-section - the recovery is not the same - but SIMILAR...
at first - everything will hurt - laughing, coughing, sneezing, getting up from a sitting position...etc. but it will get easier after a few days....

I was able to move around after a week... my abdomin was sore, like I had a sick ab work-out... but it gradually got better.
