healthy, high fat foods for 8 month old
DS has been pretty consistently in the 80% for length and the 20% for weight. But from 6 months to 8 months he has dropped down to the 10% for weight. The Dr. isn't concerned, and neither am I. However, I wouldn't mind upping that percentage just a bit. He eats three meals and snack every day and takes a 6oz bottle 3 times a day, though I try to throw in an extra 4oz when he's willing to take it. The thing is, he's the kind of kid who will just stop when he's full. So rather then try to feed him more, I guess I need to try to feed him higher fat foods, without feeding him a bunch of junk. Any suggestions?

I know avocados are recommended for babies who need to gain weight because they are healthy, but also higher in fat and more dense than most fruits and veggies.

you can put butter on/in his veggies. avocados are a good idea. cheese and yogurt are also high fat items.

ITA!
Full fat yogurts and cheese, avocado, butter, using whole milk if you bake things for baby...
You can brush butter onto your fruits and then bake them & puree them (if necessary).
