Help - All inclusive Caribbean resort?
I decided on a babymoon (now that the sun doesn't make me sick!) - we are looking to go on a quick 4-5 day trip over Thanksgiving.
I've been looking into Excellence in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic... but I heard the roads to the resort are really bad and bumpy.
I would love suggestions - the closer to NY the better!
PS airline prices are RIDICULOUS right now!!!

we went to excellence on our honeymoon. The roads were bumpy but I think anywhere you go they are bumpy!

Did you enjoy Excellence? It looks gorgeous.
I am just concerned with my belly on the bumpy roads! Reviews I read on trip advisor specifically referred to this, that's why I asked!!!

I just got back from Punta Cana, and the roads did not bother me....I was really sick on the way back to the airport though, because we were waiting outside in the sweltering heat for our bus to come for at least an hour. It made me really sick, and caused me to have a terrible ride back, but the bumps didnt have anything to do with it!

We loved Paradisus Punta Cana- so much we joined their vacation club (sorta time-share thing)...Not super duper fancy but beautiful...The Palma Real in Punta Cana is their sister resort and that place is unbelievable....Bothe offer amazing all inclusives And as for the roads, at least the ones we were on were no problem at all both times we were there

i loved excellence. I loved that there were no kids. In all honesty, anywhere you go its giong to be bumpy. Was it so bumpy - I don't think so but I wasn't preggo at the time. I went last year at this time!
