My friend had her bridal shower at Fisherman's Catch (I think that is the name). Anyway, I'm not sure how many people they can accommodate but I thought it was nice. The room she had it in had these huge windows looking out to towards the water. There was also a small outdoor area too.
my bridal shower for my first wedding was there...so that's obviously out.
Yes, I think you're right! lol

Help me pick a wedding venue!
Also try Coindre Hall Harbor Club (Prime bought it so I'm guessing the food is AWESOME but they might be pricy) Blue in Bellport Crescent Beach Club The Oldfield Club - friends of mine just got married there, so nice!

Try Captain Bills in Bay Shore. I was there recently and was thinking how lovely it would be for a more casual wedding
Captain Bills
people keep suggesting this place but when i look at the pictures it looks like such a big catering hall type room. am i wrong??
FIRST CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!
I looked at capt Bills for my wedding back in 2009 and I was looking at places to hold 150. Capt Bills was nice but with even 150 we would have been SWIMMING in the room.
I also looked at Timber Pt and WSCC.
WSCC is VERY budget friendly and looking back should have gone there and saved some $$$$$.
THe guy who was the manager was amazing to deal with just with looking. Its small but I think would be great for your size. And the LI martime Museum is right next door. I did my engagement pics there so if you want to see who the pics looked let me know and I will add you on FB so you can see.

I would def check them out too, and Irish Coffee Pub. Not so much in terms of outdoor space or nice views, but great food and both places are a pleasure to deal with. Both have beautiful larger reception rooms too! We've had many functions at both and have always been very happy.

Help me pick a wedding venue!
I got married at Bridgeview Yacht club in the main ballroom and it was fabulous. I would try calling them because they have two smaller rooms (cocktail hour room and one room they use as a bridal suite but could also do a small wedding has it's own bar). Call and ask for Samantha. If you are open to an afternoon I'm sure they would accommodate.

thanks, but i looked there for my shower (the first time) and they have too many steps with no elevator. my grandparents wouldn't make it. i guess that's another criteria i should put on the list lol

Help me pick a wedding venue!
Congratulations!! I really like the Milleridge cottage. I also like the wineries but the cost may be $$$. I got married at Westbury manor and while it is a catering hall the gardens are beautiful. It Might be worth taking a look- they were very accommodating with handicap access.
