Re: help! sac at 4 wks??

I think that was irresponsible of your Dr to even DO a sono that early! Blood test is enough. My dr wouldn't do one at all until 8 weeks (even though I asked for one at 6 wks). She said that it's too early and could cause unnecessary stress if we didn't see something or hear HB yet. I'm glad she made me wait, because that would be awful. I'm sorry you're being put through this. I REALLY think it's too early to see anything, so please try not to worry yet Chat Icon

And just to add - you already have more symptoms than I had that early on. My boobs didn't start getting sore & I didn't have any morning sickness at all until 5/6 wks along. So don't worry about that.

Re: help! sac at 4 wks??

4 weeks is very early. my first pregnancy i was around 5 weeks, and there was nothing there, no sac, nothing.

my second i was i think 6 weeks (?) and there was a small sac, but nothing in it

4 weeks is really early to see anything. i would wait two/three weeks if i were you and then go back

I went at 5w and when they did the sono they measured me a 4w and got me all worried. I went back a week and a half later and everything was as it was supposed to be. I wouldn't worry yet, although I know it is so hard. Keep us posted.
