I used to wash them after every use then I realized how much water I was wasting and how much laundry I was doing.
The thing is- when you step out of the shower you are hopefully clean- so to me, I just hang it up so it doesn't get mildewy and use it again.
I change it about once a week.

I use a towel twice for my body then it becomes my "hair towel" for the rest of the week. Dh would use the same towel for a year if I didn't take it off the hook in the bathroom and force him to get a new one. I take his down after 2-3 days. The towels only get washed once a week though, one big load!

Once a week. We hang them up to dry, so they don't smell. If they get the mildewy smell, I change them out. If the hand towel gets dirty I'll change that more often as well.

Once a week. They are air dried and dont smell at all. I also kinda air dry my own body so I really only use my towel for 2 mins or less.

We both use it for a week and then wash it. I hang my towel up right away and it never has a mildewy smell.

I'm a once a week too.

They get hung behind the door to dry.

I don't quite understand 1x, because you're clean & just drying off. But I also dont understand going 2wks+.
