HGH for embryo quality
HI ladies! Has anyone done this or read any research on this? Dr. Wang brought it up to me. He says it only shows results for 2 in 10 women but could be something to consider. I have poor egg quality, all my embies are arresting on day 4. Insurance doesn't cover it so he said its taking a gamble. 1k. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

When I was in college, I worked at vitamin store that sold HGH. I would be careful taking it. There are mixed studies about it and I have not heard about the egg quality part. Maybe it does the same as DHEA in which it increases certain hormones in the pituitary? I would research more.
My RE's are recommending coQ10, DHEA, Royal Jelly and fish oil to improve quality. Not sure if it is going to work.
I know most RE's are now doing 5DT's but I am sure you can ask if they can try a 3DT. Your embies may do better in your uterus.

We are doing an 3DT this time. The first time my embryos all arrested on day 4 and was never told by my RE and they did the transfer anyway :roll eyes:.
My new doctor gave it a second try to see what the embryos did and the same thing happened.
