High Fructose Corn Syrup
Does anyone know if this is ok? I like a little of the french vanilla milk in my coco or caffeine free coffee, but I know it has the high fructose corn syrup.
Thanks!

Re: High Fructose Corn Syrup
I have no idea if it is ok while pregnant but after watching a Dr. Oz how about this ingredient my household doesn't have anything with this ingredient.
There are options out there that don't have high fructose corn syrup in it. For example, my husband loves ketchup and i go with organic ketchup because it doesn't have high frustose corn syrup. There are jams and jellies that don't have it many other items. Makes for a long grocery trip but it works for us.

EVERYTHING has high fructose corn syrup - Check the labels on everything in your cabinets if you're trying to stay away from it -
It's not 'good' for you any day - but if it were not 'ok' - PG women wouldn't get to have ANY fun at all !!!!!

Re: High Fructose Corn Syrup
it's in so many things, i think it would be hard to avoid it without driving yourself nuts.
it's so unsettling to think about all these foods and ingredients being unhealthy, especially in pregnancy. i've come to look at it this way - people have been eating foods containing this stuff for years. pregnant women in japan eat sushi throughout pregnancy. pregnant women throughout europe and south america drink coffee throughout pregnancy. pregnant women in many countries around the world drink alcohol during their pregnancy. and it's not like babies being born in other areas of the world are doing so much worse than our babies are (and where they are doing worse, it's not for reasons of maternal diet). so i choose not to worry too much about this stuff... jmo.
