Re: Hillary Clinton

I will just say this. I was NOT a Hillary fan by ANY stretch of the imagination. I thought she was a complete 'carpet bagger' ( I think that is the term they kept calling her for buying a house in NY just to run here) Anyway, I have been dealing with her office A LOT since this summer and I have to say they are extremelly responsive. She is soley responsible for getting us the meeting that we needed with the Federal Goverment and I will say I went from a hater to a fan.

Re: Hillary Clinton

Sorry, I just can't get the image out of my mind of her rollling her eyes and checking her watch at a 9/11 memorial for police and firefighters shortly after the attacks - as if she had someplace more important to be.

I didn't like her much before then - but that sealed it for me.

It will be an interesting race.

Re: Hillary Clinton

I don't understand what she has done...someone give me one instance where she has actually lobbied for one bill and gotten it passed.
I saw the Shumer thing, so there's no need to repost.
I just don't get what people think she has done for NY...cuz I can't think of any changes she has brought about.

And what makes her a brilliant woman? Forgive me, but I don't see it...and I think people just jump on the "woman president" thing without thinking about who the woman is.

See, I agree that's it's a great time for change as far as who is putting in bids. I just don't think Hilary is the best one for the job.

I agree. There is a senator from New Mexico who will be announcing his bid for the presidency. He is hispanic.

A very diverse group of people!!

i agree that it is a great step forward in that sense, but...
I just worry that people are going to be WAY more focused on the demographic of the candidates, rather than their platforms Chat Icon

Re: Hillary Clinton

I personally love her - but I'm not sure if she'd win - she's such a polarizing figure.

I really like JOE BIDEN (Long time Senator from Delaware) who's also running - but is really biding his time to see if the shine comes off Clinton and Obama anytime over the next year.

Better believe it - and the politicians will be playing along with the demographics as well.

Flying around we'll hear:

Is the US ready for a female president? Hispanic? Black? Another Catholic? etc...

Personally, I like her and I think she would do a GREAT job as president...

She has already been on the inside of the presidency and knows what to expect and how things work...Plus she was a large part of the reason that Pres. Clinton was as successful a president as he was.

Re: Hillary Clinton

I have mixed feelings...

I do like her and think she's a very smart woman. and IMHO, she would do a better job than the current administration! then again, who couldn't? Chat Icon

on the other hand, she will never win. and I really want to see a Demo back in the White House. if she wins the primaries, we'll have another 4 years of a Repub.
