hould I get blood test to confirm pregnancy? WWYD?

Looks like the earliest I can see an OBGYN (my regular or high risk) is at least 2 weeks from now, but my regular OBGYN's office said I can go in any time if I want to just do the blood work to confirm pregnancy/check the numbers, "but I don't have to"

Do you think I should go and get this done or wait till I go in in a couple of weeks and do everything that day?

I know this is a silly Q and I can just go and do it , but with my schedule and not having anyone to watch DC is just so hard for me to go in 2x.

Just wondering what everyone did.
I am so paranoid , I keep testing every morning to make sure the line is still there :(

With both of my pregnancies I never had betas done. At my first appts (around 8 weeks) i was given a sono a heartbeat was present and I had all the blood work at that time as well. I know how I am and would just worry myself more if my numbers didnt double. JMO i would wait the two weeks.

What ever you feel most comfortable with go for it


and you WILL get thru this pregnancy just fine. Every woman I know is anxious while pregnant regardless if its your first, second, third etc.
