How bad is it not to wear a suit
on an interview?
I ALWAYS wear one, but my lighter weight suit is at the dry cleaners (won't be ready till Saturday) and the only other one I have is winter weight. since it's not freezing cold today, I am concerned about being too hot in it.
would you wear a blazer/jacket and coordinating trousers to an interview?
or should I just suck it up and wear the winter suit?

What's the field you're interviewing in? Is it more casual or corporate? I've interviewed without a suit before.. but I work in the internet field, and it's a little more layed back then say finance...

In my field I'd suck it up and wear the suit. Maybe just wear a light cami underneath instead of a blouse to keep cooler.

Temps are supposed to be DROPPING quickly today, so I'd say go with the winter suit anyway.

Then go for the suit.. it's November 15th.. if it were August I might be more iffy about it.. but you will look fine...

Yup, you're going to have to suck it up if you're in corporate. Just wear something very light underneath.

I wore the winter suit in August when it was 90 degrees  I had no choice, it was my 3rd interview and I had already worn the lighter one for the first 2. I was DYING!!!!!!!!!! on the way back to my car I took the jacket off, I couldn't wait any longer

thanks everyone! I wore the suit and glad I did! By the time it was over, the temp dropped severely and I was freezing.

I have wore many pants and jackets (tailored) that were not actual suits at interviews.
As long as it is conservative and "tailored", you should be fine.
