How can I be more creative with DD's solid food?

My DD is 7.5 months and LOVES to eat. I feel like we keep giving her the same things over and over again and we could use some more variety.
She eats:

Fruit: bananas, peaches, apples, apricots, pears, mangoes

Veggies: butternut squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans

We have mixed bananas and peaches and tried some of the Earth's Best mixes (apples and apricots, pears and mangoes, etc) and we've mixed peas and carrots. I am bored with her food even if she isn't Chat Icon

What new things can we try to expand her repertoire and liven things up? TiA!

How about mashed avocado? DS loved this

We also did plums & prunes (worked great for any constipation too)

What about yogurt? My DC LOVE yogurt!
I also give them cheese. (american, cottage cheese)
They like broccoli with brown rice.

I also just tried edamame - I mashed up the beans, and they really like that too. You have to be careful with soy though, because it is one of those allergy risk foods.

Thanks everyone! I wasn't sure she was old enough for dairy or gassy foods like beans and broccoli but maybe I will give them a try. She is not allergic to anything so it shouldn't be a problem. Any other ideas? How old should she be to start meat?

We haven't done meat yet, but at their 8 month app't our ped said they could have anything except eggs, shellfish, and peanut butter.

Definitely try avocado. DS loves this. Plums are a good fruit to try. We were told we could give DS blueberries. Also try some string cheese. Around this time we introduced yogurt.
