northport and fort salonga are all that you described. great SD (both northport and KP), ton of privacy (some areas are 1 acre zoned) and close to all. my neighborhood is VERY private and i am about 5 min from the sunken meadow.
I live in the Landing area in Smithtown. I am renting right now because we are thinking of moving out of state. The house I am in has 2.3 acres. The houses are pretty expensive here though-if you need a big one we are talking close to 1 million. The people behind me have 2 white horses that I can see all winter long. It is a GREAT, wooded, private area. It is halfway between Smithtown(which can get hairy on the weekends and Kings Park

We live in Lindenhurst Village & really love it. We rented here first & liked it so much we bought a house. It's a small town feel; the schools are great; it is a community where people grew up here & are now buying homes of their own here. Great town & sense of community
We live in Lindenhurst Village also. We have great neighbors that really welcomed us to the neighborhood. Great schools. We are close to shoping and main roads. We love it so far.

I live in Farmingville/ Ronkonkoma ( right in the border) and I love my town ... I live in a very nice neighborhood. It's far away from the "immigration issues" . It' s Sachem schools and they are pnenominal!!! Very close to everything including the mall If you need anymore info FM me...
I think we're neighbors!
My street is half Farmingville & half Ronkonkoma....
