I BFed DD until she was 26 months. I worked very PT & then started working about 20 hours per week when she was 9 months & when she was a year I went back to school in addition.

DS is 5 months. I work about 20 hours per week & EBF. I plan to breastfeed until he is 2 as well.

Went back to work at 8 weeks pp.

EBF for nearly 7 months, began giving a bottle of formula per day at that time because of my health. Stopped pumping at 10 months and stopped BF at a year.

Working mom-- My DD is EBF and 6 1/2 months. I plan to continue until at least 1 year.

I BF both DDs, but never exclusively.

I was a working mom with DD#1 and BF for 3 mos. I was a SAHM with DD#2 and BF for 6 mos--which is my limit regardless of work situation.

I was working FT when I went back after my maternity leave.

I EBF for 4 weeks. Then pumped and BFd until DS was 4.5 months.

I started pumping at work and did for 1.5 month. While we had a private room, fridge, etc... JUST for BFing moms, it was still a PITA. Bringing the pump everyday at work. Pumping 3 times at work, etc..

I will admit that keeping up with DS was really the challenge. I had to pump 32 oz per day to keep up with. I got completely drained.

Then I got really sick with a staph infection. It would not go away. I was "forced" to go cold turkey by the specialist. I was not healing and had to up the meds unsafe for BFing.

I pumped and dumped for 1+ week. DS used all of the frozen stash... just like that and I had to supplement with formula.

I was going to resume BFing but DH told me it was "enough". I had to let go. So at 4.5 month I BFe DS 2 times per day. Morning and evening and he was on formula during the day. I stopped pumping. I stopped completely at almost 6.5 months. My milk supply had drastically reduced. My boobs were deflated by then.

I pumped exclusively for 10 months... i really only stopped because i am preg with #2.. however i am a sahm and i know that the random shift i pick up (2 nights a month) were very annoying to pump at.... so i think if i had worked more i would have stopped

With DS1, I was a working mom. I BF for 9 months but also supplemented with formula as I was not able to produce enough milk while pumping.
With DS2, I am a SAHM and i am still BF at 13 1/2 months.

Working mom-
DD#1 BFed until she was 11.5 mos. She self weaned, bc I had dried up due to second pregnancy. She got BM mixed with cows milk from 11-13.5 mos, bc of a great freezer stash.
DD#2 - still going strong

I am a full time working mom and had to pump 100% for Molly as she did not latch and I had major supply issues in the beginning. I did it for one full year. I had to pump sometimes 8x a day for 20-40 minutes each time to get her needs met.
I would not change a thing.

I BF DS for 13 months. I BF exclusively for 3 wks then introduced formula during the day while he was with the babysitter. I always BF as soon as I got home until bedtime. I never had a problem with my milk supply even though I didnt pump or BF during the day.

My DS is almost 29 months and he is still BFing. I work full time. I never supplimented with formula his first year and didn't suppliment with cow's milk the second year. He started getting cow's milk more regularly when he turned 2.
