OMG DD went Pee pee on the potty!!! and BTDT moms a question for you!!
DD is happy to sit in a dirty diaper and despite knowing the terms and watching and listening to potty videos and books has shown no interest before. She just came over to me and said pee pee mommy potty and took off her pants and diaper!!! I ran and got the potty and she sat down and went and stood up and said wipe wipe!!! Then said clean it!! I cleaned it out and she said Potty again so I gave it back to her and she went pee pee again, wiped and said new diaper!!!
OMG I was expecting it would be a long time before she would start. I'm not sure where I should go with this though b.c as I said previously I have to chase her to change her - so I'm pretty sure she isn't ready to go poo poo, but I really don't know - should I be getting pull ups or where should I go for those who are BTDT moms?

YAY!!! We did pull ups and it didn't work. What worked was underwear only. It was messy at first and annoying since we had to be close to home at all times and errands could only last about 15-20misn but he got the hang of it within a week. That first week I put diapers on at night but the following I did not and he's never had an accident at night.

thank you!!! She wants to pee on the potty but is still content to sit in poop. Is this normal and come w/ time or something I need to work on? Sorry kind of clueless on this.

How old is she? DD was great about going pee pee for about a month but I wouldn't say she was ready to be toliet trained. Suddenly, it just happened one day where she told me no more diapers and I put big girl underwear on her.
Pull ups are the biggest money waster ever!

She just turned 27 months. Honestly I didn't think she was ready so I have no idea where to start. She has known the terms for a while and uses them with her doll - but I didn't think she was ready b.c she hates to have her diaper changed and has no problem sitting in a dirty diaper. So I have to constantly chase her to change her. I don't know if it is b.c she started preschool and sees her classmates using the potty or just that she is experimenting. I really don't want to push her with this - I want to do when she is ready and confident to do it. KWIM?

I am a big proponent of putting them right into underware when they show signs of wanting to train
this is what I did with dd and she was trained with only 3-4 accidents the first week
