how long do a bag of onions stay good?
I went to buy new ones but the onions at pathmark had bugs flying around it  I kept my old bag but I can't remember when I bought it. Does anyone know how long onions typically stay good for? They're the regular yellow onions. TIA

A looong time.
If they are mushy or if I peel them and they are slimy - I toss them. Otherwise I use them.

Mine have been staying good at least a month. I keep them in a bin in my fridge.

Yes, they stay forever in the fridge.
You can tell when they are bad - boy do they smell awful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
