i get 30min (unpaid) and two 15min (paid)...
but i usually spend that time charting on patients and get called every 5 minutes by one of my patients so really my break is about 30seconds.... hahaha

We technically have an hour, but since we have to see students for therapy, it's tough to take in one chunk. Most people take a half hour while the kids are here, and a half hour after. I eat at my desk during my 1/2 hour lunch, and figure I BS enough online in between sessions, that it covers the other 1/2 hour. I only leave the building for lunch on conference days. No one is monitoring what I do though.

Technically I think it's supposed to be an hour.
It isn't enforced at all. Some days I will meet a friend for lunch or run an errand and take 2 hours. Other days I eat at my desk. It probably evens out to 1 hour a day.
At my last job, I felt pressured to never leave my office. Even if I was just out picking up food to come back to eat at my desk, people would wonder where you went and make you feel guilty!

At my job, we have an hour lunch. it can be taken between 12 - 2 pm.

I work for the city (of NY) and depending on your title/position that determines if you get 30 minutes or 1 hour lunch break. I get an hour and it's enforced (unless there's an emergency of course).

We get a 1 hour break with flexibility depending on what is going on. Most of the time we eat at our desks though.

I have a retail store. I'm LUCKY if I get to eat ... and when I do its usually not before 2 or 3pm

we "technically" can take an hour, most of us at the firm wind up working through lunch, eating at our desks though
