WHAT?!?!?!? They play?!?!?! DS gets up and starts calling us immediately. 
Same here!! She's happy when she's awake, but she is up, slapping the crib rail and all ready to play with Mommy or Daddy within seconds of waking

Until 7 am. I won't go in before that, but DH will sometimes. So if she wakes up at 6, she's there for an hour.

I'm glad other moms do this! I was feeling a little guilty for a while, but I guess it helps him learn how to entertain himself.
For me probably 15-20 mins he will babble and suck on his hands.

If she's happily playing with her stuffed animals...i say about 20 minutes.
same- if she is crying, I go in immediately since usually something is wrong.

Sometimes she wants out right away, but most of the time (at least before teething) I go in after about 30 minutes. As soon as she starts standing and crawling more, I will go in sooner.

I let her play till she starts screaming for me!  I am not even really sure how long it is, though, bc I try to get as much sleep as I can!  It's probably somewhere between 20 and 45 minutes, I'd guess.

they play and talk to each other. sometimes I will wait for up to 1/2 hour and they fall back asleep for two more hours.
Ditto for us. I usually get ready for work while they stay in their cribs and "chat" with each other. Sometimes I even get lucky and they go back to sleep.

when they wake up, they will talk and put their aquariums on. I let them hang out until they start fussing and whining, that is usually about 20-30 minutes.

If I know she is up, I will leave DS until he starts whining.
Once he is unhappy in there I usually go in with 30 minutes because by that time he probably wants to be changed and have a cup.

Man, I wish I had started this when she was younger!
Usually we go right in. We get her calling us..."OH Mommmmmyyyyy....I'm Uppppppp, where areeeee youuuuuuuuuu!"
And now that she is night=time potty trained I have to go right in so she can quick get to a potty.
