How many months when a miscarriage is less likely

Hi

I was wondering at how many months along when a miscarriage is less likely. They say after 12 weeks, right?

12 weeks they say but I have also heard from people i know personally who have had miscarriages, well after 12 weeks. sad b/c most people tell everyone around 12 weeks and then having to go back and tell everyone you've lost it...Chat Icon

I do as well (3 people)- but statistically speaking it drops tremendously.

If your doctor sees the yolk sac (4-5 weeks): 15% chance

If your doctor sees heartbeat (6-8 weeks): less than 5% chance

After 12 weeks: less than 1%
