How many naps is your 4mth old taking?

My DS just turned 4 months and he is fighting his naps.

For the past few days he takes two naps a day and thats it.
His morning nap lasts for about 45 mins and then his afternoon nap lasts for one hour and thats it!!!! he used to take a nap every 90 mins.

HELP!!!

Yael is the consumate catnapper. She HAS to nap within an hour and a half of waking. Sometimes it's 20 minutes, sometimes it's 2 hours. Usually she takes two catnaps in the morning, and one longer stretch of a nap in the early afternoon and then a 15 minute nap around 6pm an hour or so before bed.

3 naps averaging 2-3 hrs each.

DD was never a cat napper

At 4 months she took 2 really solid naps a day (3 hours each, sometimes her afternoon nap was closer to 4 hours) and one 30 minute nap in between the two.

So am I doing something wrong or do I have another live wire on my hands ( My dd gave up her second nap at 11mths and stopped napping altogether after her 2nd birthday) Say it isnt so......

dd cat naps.. shes the queen of them. 15-20min here and ther sometimes if im lucky 1full hour once a day... but other then that.. theres no naps!

He's pretty good...2 to 3 2 hour naps a day...unless he's having a growth spurt or a bad day(s). Then it's anyones guess, could be a nap every 90 minutes that lasts for hours or a nap every 3 hours that lasts for 20 minutes.
Believe me, I dread bad nap days cuz they end up being bad sleep nights.
