How Many REAL Friends Do You Have?
Not just "acquaintances," but actual people you can count on outside of family. Sometimes, I feel like I've grown apart from my friendships and I have no one left. Am I crazy?

I agree- I think as I get older I realize more and more who are my REALLY good friends, who I know will be there NO matter what! Besides, Dh and my Mom, I do have a few of those wonderful friends, 4 and I cherish them

I have a lot of friends who are more than acquaintances - but as far as how many people I have that I can completely depend on - not including DH or my sisters & family - I would say I have 4 completely dependable friends. I feel lucky to have each of them.

I have 2 super close will do anything for me and vice versa girlfriends and about 2 super close guy friends. Not including FH, but these guy friends are just as close with FH as they are with me. I love my little tight-knit group

4-5 that I can always count on.
But none of them live anywhere near me, so sometimes it's hard.
In 2001 I went through a really rough time personally (pre-9/11) and found out who my true friends were.

5-6 but there are always those friends who you "think" you can count on and when it actually comes down to it, you can't. That can be hard sometimes.
