i'm really lucky... dh has an awesome group of about 10-12 friends from high school that has stayed in touch and is still super close- even though its a big group, i would consider all of them
" true" friends... its just so weird, but for some reason we are all really bonded and its great  we can count on each other for anything- just yesterday we spent the day at one of their houses rippnig up carpet and pulling staples out of the floor... LOL and recently one of their dads passed away, and we all came together for that, too...

My sister is my best friend.
But I def had more friends than I do now.
I'd say 2 outside of family...and that's probably being generous.
I don't trust easily and have the fortune of getting burned...females for the most part suck.

For a long time DH & I had more friends then I knew what to do with & we could count on EACH & EVERY ONE!!
Not so much with that group anymore
A disagreement w/ one couple a few years back has lead us be left out of an awful lot....so a few years later we just say "Whatever" to that situation & have moved on.

Last Sept. I met an awesome group of women & we clicked immediately! I became part of this fantastic motorcycle club which was so much more then just riding
Now....not so much.... one member was ousted (we remain friends) and 2 just quit (we also remain friends. The 4 of us get along so great still!!!
The others....I am extemely close to 1 girl & it hurts me to feel I want to quit.
I know if I do....well..... those friendships will be over too w/ the remaining people in this group.

really only 2. Almost all our friends are mutual friends an while I can def count on them now, if god forbid something were to happen between me and dh they wouldnt probably be my friend anymore because they are closer to him.

i have 5 who I can honestly say have true true concern for me and who I can count on and vice versa..thats not counting BF who between him and my best friend(who is my sister I never had) I know without question whatever I need they will be there...i have been sad though that a girl I was very close with since junior High we have fallen away from one another, I still love her to pieces but I fear our friendship will never be the same...
