how many sonos?
Just curious to see how many sonos you got throughout your pregnancy. I've heard of some drs that only do 3-4 sonos, and others that do alot more.

Re: how many sonos?
At 32 weeks I've had 2 so far. I think I have one more at 36 weeks.

Re: how many sonos?
I had the initial internals at 8 and 10 weeks to confirm pregnancy and due date. Then the 12-week nuchal fold one, 20-week anatomy scan, and my last is 36 weeks (tomorrow!) for size, amniotic fluid volume, baby position, etc.

how many sonos?
I had one at every visit but now I just switched doctors and they're doing one sono of their own next visit (26 weeks) and that's the only they'll do.

how many sonos?
My doctor does a quick one every visit. In addition to that, I've had an NT scan, a 1st anatomy scan and will have a 2nd anatomy scan later this week. I am not high risk and when I asked the doctor, she said it's just how they do it.

Re: how many sonos?
At 19 weeks, I've had 2 and I have a third next week at 20 weeks.
The first was 7 weeks to confirm pregnancy and make sure all was well, second was NT scan, third will be anatomy scan. I've only had one appointment (17 weeks) with no ultrasound. I believe I'll have at least one more if not more. I want to say my doctor said they do them more often in the third trimester, but that was back from my first visit and I can't remember.
I'm very low risk for everything though.

how many sonos?
I started at an RE so I had two there... One to confirm pregnancy and second to hear heartbeat. I then had one at first OB appt, NT, and anatomy scan. I have another US In 2 weeks because of some possible cysts and my history of GD. I think if all goes well and I don't end up with GD again, I will just have a growth sono later on. If I do have it, I'll have them more regularly to monitor growth and placenta.

how many sonos?
My Dr does one at every appointment. They just check the HB tho.
Now that im at every 2w, he does a few measurements for growth and checks the fluid levels.
I am 90% sure its standard practice there (ive never seen a doppler sitting around in the offices before), but with Hailey i saw him as a high risk patient so i dont know know if that made a difference. And hes the one that diagnosed me with low fluid and had me sent to be induced with Hailey so i dont know if thats why he constantly checks with sonos now.

I find this to be the norm. Unless you are high risk.

Re: how many sonos?
From everything I've been told and have read, if you're not high risk, then the less sonograms you receive the better. Most doctors will just check heart beat with a Fetal Doppler.
With #1 I had 5 sonograms. 8wk, 17wk (just because I was concerned over some pressure I was feeling), 20wk anatomy scan, 21wk anatomy scan follow-up (she wasn't cooperating at last one), then I had a growth sono somewhere around 37wks.
With #2 I had 3. 6wk, 8wk, & 18wk anatomy scan. I'm 38wks now and no growth sonos are being scheduled. Oh well.

Re: how many sonos?
Some doctors (mine) just do a doppler test. After graduating from my RE I had 4. 1 was a freebie my OB threw in Because DH asked. Other than that, it was the NT, anatomy scan and 32 week growth sono. None were done at my OB office. I went to MFM for them.

I only had 6 weeks, 12 weeks, 20 weeks and they said the next one won't be until I'm 35 weeks.
