DH works from home 3 days a week ... I'll be surprised if he doesn't try to go into the city more often!!

My husband gets 2 weeks paid paternity leave. He might take another week or two holiday, he might not. Depends on how long I can stand to have him around!

DH is not taking a set amount of time off. He has the ability to work from home & go see his customers on demand. Everyone knows when I am due & we will just play it by ear. Personally I know that I will have help as my parents will be in from OOS & will be staying with us.

dh gets one week paternity leave- i get no maternity leave from my company...
he's also taking 2 weeks vacation- but might take one week, then a week like a month later

DH planned his vacations so that he will have one each month after the baby is born. I think he gets three weeks, so one in May, June and July, I think. Actually, I should ask him again just to be sure...thanks for reminding me!

He is taking 2 weeks off...
With my 1st he did the same... and by week 2- I was like PLEASE go back to work
This time around- having a c-section and having a 3.5yr old to care for on top of a newborn, Illl probably be begging for him to stay home even longer
He has lots of time... but it looks like 2 weeks in the begining and then 2 weeks the following month...

I guess I'm in the minority here, maybe 3 days. My DH works for the family business and he's the only one who really does his job. We had to take some time in Jan for a destination wedding and we want a week together over the summer so I think he'll only really be home w/ me for a few days after the baby is born. I'm sure his hours will be more flexible during the first few weeks, the office is close so he can come home for lunch, etc. I'm not really too concerned, I have 4 months off and it will be good to get into a routine right away. My mom will be here and the rest of my family lives in the same town so I'll have plenty of help.

Well DH only gets vacation time - so he will have to use that or nothing. He hopes to give me 1-2 weeks - and my mom and father are going to give me some time. DD will be 23 months when the baby comes and she is VERY active and I will be having another csection so I know I will need more help than if I had a vaginal delivery.

probably only a few days to a week. He is in construction so any days he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. poor guy..but my mom will around since she is a teacher and will be off.
