How much time in the morning??
How much time do you give your kids to get up, eat, dressed and ready to be out the door?

Ds gets up at 7:30 and the bus comes at 8:45. This is more than enough time but leaves me some wiggle room if he is having a sluggish morning

this has been the on going struggle for the last 3 years in my house. LOL. On a good day i get a little over an hour. Other days maybe 30 minutes. Its a struggle to get my kids out of bed every single year. No matter how early they go to bed the night before. They just dont want to get up in the morning.

My kids are early birds so I have never had a problem getting them out of bed for school. BUT....they are like that on the weekends too so it is a catch 22- 
I get up at 6am and if they are not up already, once they hear me they get up.
My oldest leaves at 7:45 and youngest at 8:15.

I wake Emily up between 7:15-7:30 and the bus comes at 8:20.

My kids hate to wake up and start eating or getting dressed. I get them up at 7:15 - 7:30 so they can watch a 30 minute show and then we head downstairs. We eat, get dressed and get out the door by 8:45 for the bus. Hopefully I can stick to this, I tend to start getting downstairs later and later. If running late I will try to get them to eat while watching tv.

They wake up around 7:15/7:30 and I leave the house at 9-9:10 to bring DD to school.
They need to be dressed and fed by 8:30. If I am doing that after 8:30 I end up screaming and rushing and I hate that.

I wake Jack at 7. By the time he gets up and poops (tmi, this kid's like a little man reading his book on the bowl ), I have his and Ryan's breakfast ready. He gets dressed, eats breakfast and goes to the bus at 8:15.

My alarm goes off at 6:30. I hit snooze at least once. I get my kids up, they eat breakfast and are outside waiting for the bus (front door pick-up) at 7:15. So a little less than 45 minutes. As the year goes on, I am sure I'll be adjusting that to get up a little earlier since my kids move pretty slow.

We've been getting up at 7:30 and he gets the bus at around 8:45. It is plenty of time. I think even 8:00 would give us enough time but he has been waking up on his own at 7:30.

I give them an hour. Up at 7am - bus comes at 8:05..
I am dreading early morning activities (orchestra, extra help, etc) then I have to wake them at 6:45 to be at school for 7:30 :(

But is at 8:47 but we like to be out there 10 minutes early.
Wake 'em up at about 7.50- just enough time to get dressed, do hair, get the little guy taken care of, and breakfast in her!

DD wakes around 7:00-7:15 - bus comes at 8:50. She doesnt like to eat or get dressed right away so this gives her time to lay around and watch TV first. We could get ready in 45 min. or so but it doesnt matter because she is up by this time anyway, I dont have to wake her.

They get up at 8ish and are out the door by 8:40. I find that if I give them too much time they wind up wasting it and fighting and generally driving me bananas.

about an hour and 15 minutes, so he can wake up, watch a little tv, and then eat and get ready. I get him up at 7 and bus comes at 815.

40 minutes is just enough time for my kids to eat breakfast, brush teeth, go the bathroom and get dressed. In my house that is all there is in the morning because everything is ready at night....But I get up earlier to make breakfast, and prep snacks. I have a ds and my dd's hair can always be done by my child care provider so if she doesn't leave looking so hot, she always returns looking good. Also she will get fed at daycare so if she does not eat all her breakfast- no worries. My ds is in grade school but eats breakfast in a timely fashion.
