How much tylenol to give 1 year old? Alexander now has the fever also.
Well Alexander has caught the bug. He is running close to 103 fever and the dr still hasn't called me, which I am fuming about. I called them close to 2 hours ago. So I'm just going to give him tylenol but I don't remember how much. It's infants tylenol and I think it's supposed to be .8, does that sound right?

It goes by weight.
6-11 pounds= .4
12-17 = .8
18-22 =1.2
23-33 =1.6

i just went to ped yesterday and DS (6 months) 14 1/2 lbs gets .8 of infants tylenol... i would start w/ .8 and if dr says its ok to give more, i would give him the rest when ped calls.

I think 1.6 depending on his weight. I know Motrin has the dosage on the bottle for that age/weight. I find Motrin is better to bring a fever down also.
