How much water does your DC drink daily?
And how old are they?
DD LOVES water. The sitter gives her a full sippy to drink throughout the day, and I give her one at night..she doesn't always finish it, but sometimes she does.
This weekend, at her 7 month visit, the Dr said I am giving her too much water. is this possible? I don't agree with everything he says..so sometimes I ignore him, but I'm wondering if this one is true..
He said she should have at MOST 4 oz of water a day.

How big are the cups?
You definitely don't want to give them TOO much water at this age... they can actually get "water intoxication" or it can make them too full to get the nutrients from their BM/formula

I give him not like 2 oz at dinner time and he never finishes it. My ped said it can take away from formula eating where all the nutrients is.

I give Ds the sippy up but he really still get's water from his formula....he's not really big into plain water i guess..

DS is 14 months & consumes A LOT of water....Throughout the day, he drinks around 3-6oz sippys of water...He still eats very well & drink his milk also

At 7 months I was not giving either of my DC any water at all. Strictly formula and their food.
DD is now 11 months and I don't even think she takes an ounce of water. All she does is chew on the sippy cup.

DD is 7 mos. she gets none or very little water. She is just figuring out the sippy, but has been drinking less formula now that she is eating food so I don't want to fill her up with water right now.
