I think we did at 4 or 5 months. I think when they have some neck support.

3 months on the box - but it depends on the neck support - if dc isn't ready for it, then you should wait.

DS was in the Bumbo I guess around 3 months or so but had excellant head & neck control......every baby is different though......so just try it & see what happens!

DD was about 8 weeks when we first put her in the bumbo, she was ok in it, but now at 11 weeks, she loves it, she likes it much more then she likes the bouncy seat.

We started using it for short periods of time around 9 weeks. He was always great with his head/neck.

ds is 3.5 months now and finally using it...he has a huge head and it took some time to get control of his neck...

It depends on when they have good neck control DD could lift her head at birth - and had excellent control very early - I didn't use it until 3 months though b.c that is what the box recommended. DD never liked the seat though so we rarely used it.
