How soon can a milk allergy show up?
I switched Andrew onto Next Step and it is milk based.
How soon will an allergy show up and what am I looking for?

DD breakes out in hives, her lips swell, and she has shallow breath.
For her, it happens immediately, but a reaction can occur up to 2 hours later.

For us it was just incredible crankiness and crying all the time and she was very difficult about taking a bottle. But it can show up at any time really. She had been on the similac and BM at the same time for several months b4 it happened. we dont' know why it cropped up.

same thing happens to brendan. his eyes also get puffy and oozy and his nose runs.
