How to pick a doctor/midwife?
Long time lurker, first time poster. Moved OOS not too long ago and don't have an obgyn here that I like. Not sure how to go about finding someone I want to deliver my baby. I want someone who does home births or delivers at a birthing center. How did you find a doctor/midwife you like? What kind of questions should I ask when I meet with them?

Re: How to pick a doctor/midwife?
First find the birthing center, then find doctors who give birth there.
I like to pre-scan them using ratemd.com, vitals.com, and such just to see what people say about them. Keep in mind there is nothing stopping doctors from writing stellar things about themselves. It also doesn't hurt to just google a doctor.

Thank you
I don't know many women out here with kids and don't want to tell anyone I'm PG yet, so those sites will help a lot.
