I am Peeeeeved!!!!!
We just sit down for dinner. DH asks "how was it today?" I tell him "Pretty quiet".
Then we hear BANG!! We both look at each other, go to the front door and some morons egged our door!
Our house is set back so Im guessing they stood in the middle of the lawn or actually came to the door.  
I know this happens every year, but I am steamed! Dh wouldnt let me go look for them either!
I sat down and was like "Ok, I talk the talk, but would I walk the walk"?.
I dont think I'd wanna mess w/anyone tonight, but seriously, Im Po'd~!

Kids were throwing rocks at my windows before and ran when they saw my 6'4" DH come running to the door.

Someone did this at my moms today. Friggin idiots. I sat there for a half hour scrubbing her door. Make sure you clean it quickly..once it dries it is hard to get off and it can stain!!
What is the matter with kids today?? I swear...when I was little I did the whole shaving cream and eggs thing but never once did I think to destroy someones property!!
Some kids came to our door before and DH, who is not in a good mood after having his tooth pulled, almost beat the cr@p out of them. They say trick or treat and start spraying silly string all over the door and house. DH said, you expect me to give you candy after that and shut the door!!

OMG! Crazy! Rocks??? DH cleaned it off and I got my car off the street ASAP!
It came off, but, I dont undersand the purpose. Its ridiculous.
My sister just surprised me and came over and told me there is a mess of kids over by the middle school..Now, I think I know who the guilty ones may be.
I really like Halloween, but I LOVE it for the little kids.

 I wish I could have! DH wouldnt let me go out @ first..LOL.
He thought I was gonna rip someones head off! All I wanted to do was hand them a pot of hot water and a sponge and make them clean it up! They werent around anywhere though.

"kids will be kids"??!!! I don't buy that. There are a lot of things that "kids" do that aren't acceptable. If I were you I would have found out who the kids were and contacted their parents. Some parents have no clue what their kids do... and these kids sometimes end up doing very violent things.

I think you do deserve to get "reamed" for this attitude because it is future and present parents like you who do not hold their children accountalbe for their actions and cause things like rock and eggs and feces to get thrown. And their respense is oh it is just kids, well if parents with attitudes like yours were more responsible then it would not happen. There is a major difference between silly string and a rock. I agree, silly string is harmles, but a rock is not.
Did you hear that a child may loose an eye because a "kid being a kid" was throwing stuff on halloween. If it was your child who may loose the eye I am sure you would be singing a different tune.

Wow, that was pretty nasty. I was stating my opinion, I agree that throwing rocks is serious, silly string and eggs is not. There was absolutely no reason to speak to me like that.

You may have done crap like that when you were young but i think now a days with people sooo sue happy..

actually both silly string and eggs can cause harm and damage. If someone slips on them they can really harm someone- even kill them. Not to mentino the work it takes to clean them.
Why should anyone have to clean up after some kids prank???
"Boys will be boys" used to be the excuse for sexual harassment and rape. Is that acceptable?
ETA: Kids need to be taught that this is not acceptable. If they want to egg and silly string each other thats one thing. Last night I saw some kids laughing and spewing shaving cream on each other. But to egg and silly string neighbors or strangers- that is just wrong.
