actually both silly string and eggs can cause harm and damage. If someone slips on them they can really harm someone- even kill them. Not to mentino the work it takes to clean them.
Why should anyone have to clean up after some kids prank???
"Boys will be boys" used to be the excuse for sexual harassment and rape. Is that acceptable?
ETA: Kids need to be taught that this is not acceptable. If they want to egg and silly string each other thats one thing. Last night I saw some kids laughing and spewing shaving cream on each other. But to egg and silly string neighbors or strangers- that is just wrong.
I said I agree that it is not RIGHT to do. Let it go already

ok, but if you read the posts, people were being nasty saying "it's people like you, blah, blah. blah" that is nasty and uncalled for but I am over it so I am letting this post die. Hopefully no one was hurt and no paint was faded and no one's doors were ruined. Good thing halloween only comes once a year.

I agree with both sides here. IMO, kids are kids, and will come up with stupid things to entertain themselves. HOWEVER, where are the parents of these kids!? They need to step restrictions & put their foot down, discipline and keep an eye on their children. I used to do stupid things as a kid, too, cause let's face it, I was bored, but the moment I acted out of line, I got a GOOD ONE.
Now, what happened in nycchic24's neighborhood is WAY over the line, and those kids need work (her topic)!
