OMG..My thread turned into Drama! (I think the 1st time ever).
I DO NOT buy the Kids Will Be Kids!
I know it was "only an egg", however, I was scared sh*t~!
There are STILL eggshells sitting on my front patio!
They hit the glass so hard, I am very lucky that it didnt break! Yes, I do believe eggs can be serious!
I hope if you have kids, you dont let them go out and egg houses cuz ummm "Kids Will Be Kids"! Gimme A Break!

Its funny about the kids will be kids thing.
I never did stupid stuff like that BUT Some "ADULTS" still do stupid crap like that and they are the ones that come up with stupid things like "kids will be kids"
Makes you scared of what their kids will be like huh

Just out of curiosity am I correct in assuming that no one on this thread ever threw an egg or sprayed silly string?
I pretty much agree with both sides here, it's beat to have to clean it up, it does cause damage, parents should be more responsible.
What happens in some places is reprehensible and the town or village should step in with curfews and enforcement.
Ultimately it's one night a year, and the parents responsibility. The year I got caught with eggs and shaving cream was the last Halloween I was allowed out...but it was fun.

You are correct I never threw eggs or used shaving cream and Silly String was used a few times at birthday parties. Not towards people I didnt know

DH and I were egged last year walking home from train. We were in shock, then laughed it off. It is yolk. I don't get stressed over yolk.
I have avoided this thread all day. Stephanie said nothing wrong. It is kids with eggs. Not guns, people should lighten up.

i never did. but we did have shaving cream wars with EACH OTHER...we didnt disrespect other peoples property, or threaten their safety.
and IF i did, and my parents had that 'kids will be kids mentality'..then i would have been in a whooole lot of trouble growing up!!

Well I'm, not saying it's right, it isn't but you guys missed some halloween fun.
It was different 15-20 years ago too. At least where I lived. We threw stuff at eachother, not at houses or cars we had all out shaving cream wars.
It is totally wrong for anyone to damage property.

And if you laughed at kids who threw eggs at you last year...then you are odd...
And your comparison to guns is silly....
