Well I'm, not saying it's right, it isn't but you guys missed some halloween fun.
It is totally wrong for anyone to damage property.

who would have thought that a kid throwing a turkey would do such damage?? geez..i wonder if THAT kid started with a simple 'harmless' egg!!!  i think NOT.

Well taking my posts in context I meant that the shaving cream and egg wars were fun. But again, it's not right to damage propewrty or endanger others.
I think we all agree as home owners and adults it's a pain in the arse.

i work very hard for my salary...
And to be quite frank, regardless of what day of the year it is...
NOBODY, kid or not, has the right to throw anything on/ruin in ANYWAY what i spend my HARD EARNED money on
And to say that i or anyone should RELAX when our EXPENSIVE possession are ruined is a JOKE
YOU never know what a immature act can result in....And to chalk it up to halloween fun, kids being kids...well that is extremely irresponisble...
I value my things and i will be damned if anyone will ruin it..

it is sad the kids do not see what sad consequences their actions may have

I agree- it's a simple matter of respect really. And in general that seems to be out of style for some people.

I pretty much agree with both sides here, it's beat to have to clean it up, it does cause damage, parents should be more responsible.
What happens in some places is reprehensible and the town or village should step in with curfews and enforcement.
Ultimately it's one night a year, and the parents responsibility. The year I got caught with eggs and shaving cream was the last Halloween I was allowed out...but it was fun.

And not for nothing. The morons threw it at a GLASS door. I dont think its funny it definetly wouldnt be funny IF THE BROKE THE GLASS!
Its just not funny at all!
I think egging someone you know and someones property are totally different! And any homeowner who says different well then I dont know

I remember egg and shaving cream wars - I also remember one year having an egg-shaped bruise on my stomach for weeks that killed everytime i touched it, lol. At the time, it was terrifying but, really fun. Now looking back I think how lucky we all were that no one got seriously hurt and I think that if I can help it, no kid of mine will ever play games like that! Its all in good fun until someone loses their eye!
