First, while PS was only gone 2 hours before the joke went up, they've had plenty of time to prep for this. People have been making jokes - yes jokes on people that are dead since probably the first person died.
Janet - The idea of someone poking fun of Keith's death to you, as you referenced, is horrible. I'm not saying it because people shouldn't poke fun of the dead but because you obviously would be devastated by it.
But you need to recognize that other people don't have that same view. Some people - myself included - use humor to get themselves through those really difficult times.
Given that we all have different sense of humor & different thresholds of what is & isn't right, I'm pretty sure "Patrick's wife" is not on this board. If she were, I'd be right there with you posting on the old thread that I think it was out of line. By referring her as "Patrick's wife", it seems that you have personalized this in ways that I wonder if they are healthy. I'm not saying you should be over Keith's death but I do think you could benefit from additional grief counseling. I saw my grandmother was widowed by 42. She has lived her next 45 life figuratively dressed in widow's black. I don't think you get over someone's death but you do need to be healthy enough to get through it. I wouldn't want you to live decades later reliving Keith's death when every celebrity dies.

i'm just a little why this joke brought up your DH? It's very tasteless the joke but it was on kanye, not patrick and not your DH. I think people made far worse jokes on Michael Jackson when he died if you ask me!
