I am starting to worry a bit
I have been off the pill since July 08. My Dh have been trying and no luck so far. My cycle has been regular so I count my days and we BD. I am not sure how long you are supposed to wait until you see an RE. Any advice? TIA

Do you temp or use ovulation predictors? Counting is not an efficient method to know when/if you ovulated. Some people ovulate early, some late, so you could be missing your ovulation.

Yes I use ovlation predictors. But maybe temping is another alternative.

I agree-I would go for the OPKs to really understnad your cycle, if that doesn't help, and you are over 35 I would go to an RE, if under 35 I wo uld see a RE in July (a year of trying).

I would try preseed too, some folks have had luck with it.

Re: I am starting to worry a bit
If you are a healthy couple under 35, they say 1 year. But you should call your OB and ask for some basic tests like SA for DH and CD3 and CD21 bloodwork.

Re: I am starting to worry a bit
Personally I would give temping a try to make sure you are ovulating. This will also give you amazing insight into what is occurring in your body. There are tons of tempers here that will give you all the help you want.

If you're over 35.. I'd say give it 6 months of perfectly timed intercourse (meaning BDing around ovulation - based on CBEFM, OPKs, or temping) before starting to seek help.
