I don't know how much more I can take- update
now he's mad that I am going to florida- so now I have to feel bad about going
I asked him Saturday if it was ok- and now today it's a huge problem
I just can't and don't want to live like this 
update- he came home from the gym last night the old Jake- we calmly talked about everything and worked things out like adults-
I am going to Florida and he is fine with it- he apolozied - but I am am still alittle upset with him- I hope I miss him this weekend and when I get back we can be the way we were

but I think the real reason is that he is jeoulous of my family- and that is sad

Well, it's your family. He must be going thru a rebelious stage. DO NOT cancel your plans. Going out clubbing is one thing, going to visit your family is something that he really shouldn't argue with you about. he needs to know that this is important to you. If he doesn't like it too bad. he'll get over it.

You have to stand your ground, otherwise he will think that he can throw a fit and you'll just do what he wants. Now he may not want to understand where you are coming from. But eventually he will.

I just need a break- he is so unreasonable- I am sure everyone in the building heard him screaming at me-
he is going to start putting himself first- ok like he doesn't do that already
give me a break
clamining he doesn't go to the gym so he can come home and hang out with me- how about you don't go to the gym b/c the doctor told you not to lift anything over 10 lbs b/c of your neck

I feel so bad that he is giving you a hard time about it. You were so excited before . Maybe he is still not over the fight from the other day and just wants to be obnoxious, he might be holding a grudge or something. You totally deserve a break....esp. if he was going to go to the hamptons. Did his plans change and now he can't go away so he doesn't want you to go away? I hate when threats are made such as now he will do whatever he wants  . DH has said that a few times....I just say OK  Hopefully he is just feeling insecure right now and will ease up. Feel Better
