Awwee- Beth, I'm sorry you are dealing with this. I hope this weekend and a couple of days apart will give you guys the break you need. I don't know him, but it just sounds so unfair that he is NOW making you feel bad about going when he said it was fine before!!

of course- while I am home by 10pm
I let him go to neptunes on the 4th of july- with his friends while I hung out alone
when is he going to get over that place- he worked there for years and he is the king of neptunes- but come on- were 29
not really the same thing

I feel so bad that he is giving you a hard time about it. You were so excited before  . Maybe he is still not over the fight from the other day and just wants to be obnoxious, he might be holding a grudge or something. You totally deserve a break....esp. if he was going to go to the hamptons. Did his plans change and now he can't go away so he doesn't want you to go away? I hate when threats are made such as now he will do whatever he wants  . DH has said that a few times....I just say OK  Hopefully he is just feeling insecure right now and will ease up. Feel Better
you summed that all up pretty well- I am just going to let him calm down by the time I get home sunday night he is going to be sorry he acted like this

Not to go off tangent, but I thought your husband looked familiar. I grew up in HB and used to go there and alot of my friends worked there.

This will be a good time for you to relax, be away from each other, and think for a bit.
Dont let him make you feel guilty. Its obvious that he is jealous of the fact the you actually are doing something meaningful, and he has to resort to the Hamptons.

beth did he all of the sudden decide to go because of this whole fight and you going to Florida. Because if he suddenly planned it, then i think he is just being spiteful at this point.. Men are such babies sometimes!!!!

I'm sorry to hear you are going through all of this. Well, they say abscence makes the heart grow fonder, so it sure does sound like you guys could use a break. I'm sure after he thinks long and hard (takes men a while to do this  ), he will come to his senses and realize he is acting horribly. You are visiting family...it's not like you are visiting some long lost ex-boyfriend. Just hang in there, every thing will be okay....you know you have all of our support. Good luck and hope all works out for the best!!
