I feel like I'm at the end of my rope

I am the one that is expected to be all things to all people in my life. I usually am the upbeat optomist and try to show that there is
hope and show the good side to things.

I rarely ask for help or let people know when I am hurting,need comfort or afraid. I am just that way. Always putting humor in situations etc.

Today I feel defeated. No one thing has made me feel this way, just how I felt as I woke up today. I'm tired and sad. There are so many things I want to change and need help with in my life but can't share that with those that depend on me IRL.

I know this is just a phase but it really sucks!

I just needed to write it out. I am so grateful for the wonderful friends I have come to know here on LIF. I feel safe sharing this here.

We all have days, weeks, even months like that. Thank goodness tomorrow is a new day, and in the meantime, even if you feel you can't vent to those around you physically, you KNOW we are all here for you

Phyl we all have our days where we are bummin and don't find comfort in confiding in loved ones. Totally normal, that's why we are here for you!!

I've been where you are. Like you, I, rarely, ask for help. I, even more rarely, share my feelings with any one. There are times life just beats us down.
These feelings wash over you like a tidal wave, but, on the bright side, they do pass. If you ever feel the need to talk to someone just to get things off your chest, FM me and I'll give you my number. Sometimes a total stranger can see things from a different perspective. I hope you're feeling better soon.

hey u ARE NOT defeated ur just down and out right now which everyone feels every now and again.....sometimes the lil thing can set u off down a sad spiral....it is a phase and u might just NEED to cry and have a quiet day to urself to feel sad....let urself feel sad im like u and i put humor in EVERYHTING sometimes the sadness can catch up to u and it overflows from holding it in LET URSELF LET IT OUT

My oldest sister actually called me just now and started ragging on me about how I haven't ansewered her calls in two weeks, soI told her how I was feeling and she was sooo supportive!

Just wanted to let you know that even though I really don't know you, you have often made me laugh on a day where I really needed it. Wish I could do the same but I am not nearly has hysterical as you. Hang in there and keep your chin up! Glad to hear your sister was supportive!

People ahwo are always there for others, and always giving of themselves, tend to get very little in return. Because of the lack of reciprocity, you are constantly putting your energy out and getting nothing back. It always will drain you and leave you feeling empty after a while. Especially if people are toxic on top of taking all of your energy....

It may be time to assess who really needs you, who gives back to you in some way, and who keeps taking wihtout ever giving anything back, and wanting more and more, and filling you up with poison instead....
