I have my first postpartum surgery (Last Update Tuesday)
For those that don't know me, I had extreme complications when delivering my baby boy. It took them 9 months to begin to figure out why I've had numbness in my legs.
I have 3 surgeries now planned and my first one is Monday, 7/7. I'd love some happy thoughts that maybe things will get better soon and I can keep up with my fast baby.
Thank you all for being my support through this tough time. 
UPDATE MONDAY:
I am home. Surgery was horrific because I couldn't remain calm. I was awake the entire time and every time they went to give me some anesthesia through the needle I completely freaked. The c-section scarred me for life.
At one point the machine started beeping that was monitoring my vitals and the nurse came running up to me and said as calm, and firm, as possible: 'You need to breathe'. I didn't even know I was holding my breath. 
I am in a lot of pain and I thank you all for your support. I'm very nervous for the exact same surgery, later on, on my other leg.  Give me strength.
UPDATE TUESDAY:
Thank you all for your calls, FMs, texts and prayers. I am in pain and I'm bleeding a bit, but nothing alarming. 
This is a tough time as DH took time off from work to watch the baby, but he seems more concerned about watching his wrestling and being on the internet to do stuff.  So if you hear about a limping woman who beat her husband to a pulp in the middle of the street, that's me. 
This will be last update on the first surgery, but I'd sure love to hear from people if they want!

As nervous as you are, just keep thinking about how this is the first step in getting some relief!

I will be thinking about you. Just think of it as your 1st step to recovery, even if it's going to be a bit "bumpy" to get there.

ETA: I'd say a surgery on 7/7 would definitely be considered good luck!
