I am glad that you are home now and hope that you are able to get some rest today. Just think of the huge sigh of relief you'll be able to have when this is all over.

UPDATE:
I am home. Surgery was horrific because I couldn't remain calm. I was awake the entire time and every time they went to give me some anesthesia through the needle I completely freaked. The c-section scarred me for life.
At one point the machine started beeping that was monitoring my vitals and the nurse came running up to me and said as calm, and firm, as possible: 'You need to breathe'. I didn't even know I was holding my breath. 
I am in a lot of pain and I thank you all for your support. I'm very nervous for the exact same surgery, later on, on my other leg.  Give me strength.
Thanks for the update. Maybe it is somehow a good sign that your vital signs went "bad" during the surgery. That is what happened during my C-section but then I had no complications after that--maybe because the anesthesiologist knew that he better pay attention!
Don't think about your future surgeries in the next few days. It will only stress you and that is not healthy right now. I'm here if you need me. I'd bring you a meal but I can hardly cook.

I am so sorry you had to go through that. I don't blame you, my c-section scarred me for life too. Hang in there. Can they give you some valium beforehand? One of my surgeons did that for me and it helped tremendously. I'm praying for ya!
