My last day at my job will be May 31st if I chose to stay.

Absolutely!! In law school I got laid off from a part time job (on my answering machine)!! Well the next job I got was so much better!! Better $, better hours, more interesting. I stayed there for 2 years until I took the bar exam and wanted to work in another field.
