I would offer her ONE framed picture for her to enjoy and explain to her that you are not comfortable with her sending out pictures of your children.

I would personally not want to be sent out on someone's Christmas Card, but I would have no problem with her sending out a picture of Logan alone. Or Logan and your IL's.
You are dealing with the loss of your husband, and she is dealing with the loss of her son. I can't begin to imagine what has transpired over the last year between the two of you but I'm sure she just wants to show off you and Logan to her friends and family.

I'm not crazy about it. I mean I realize your dh was her son and I get the whole connection to your dh through your son, but to want to put you and ds on HER Xmas card is strange to me. So maybe send some pics but tell her younprefer them not on a card as you plan on sending your own.

I don't have an issue with it except for the fact that I don't like most pictures of me.
Other than that; we all put pictures of our kids/families on our cards and she just wants to do the same thing.
I would be okay with it.

I decided to go ahead and send her one. I asked if she wanted horizontal or vertical.
Her response:
"Up and down please. I'm going to have you photoshop yourselves into a picture of the rest of us since you aren't going with US to Disney."
Ummm...does that change your response?

update changes my response in her favor - she wants a family pic of everyone.
I'm not sure WHY it has to be @ Disney, or why you have to photoshop -I think a whole family pick anywhere it fine -
But her thought is to send a pic of her whole family - which includes her Grandson AND you - which I think is really nice of her

Okay-the update makes it a little weird. That she is going to photoshop you into the picture and pretend you were with her?
That is a little weird. I'd tell her I thought it was a little weird but still send her the picture if she wanted it.

I think I'd reply, that I'm not comfortable photoshopping Logan and you into their picture since you aren't going to Disney with them (and leave it at that).

Hmmm. Since I read this after you updated it, my initial reaction was to egg her house.
However, to keep the peace, maybe send her a picture of you and Logan but NOT from Disney. This way, they have a picture of the two of you should they choose to include it on their cards.

Read your upate and it makes sense why she wants a picture of you BOTH.
I still see nothing wrong with it. She wants to include you and her grandson in the family christmas card picture. I think it's thoughtful.

I think she just wants a group family photo.
I'd suggest taking a group family photo somewhere. It doesn't have to be disney. I mean you guys didn't go to disney together. why photoshop you in to look like you went together? that is weird. It'd be less weird if she just wanted to photoshop you in a normal photo.

I agree. But, was there an issue that she wanted you to go to Disney with her?
Why can't you all take a regular family picture?
Has she sent out family pictures in previous years?

It is. She's pisssed because I couldn't go with them next week and went with my parents last week.
I went on a Disney Cruise with them in February and we've done NUMEROUS things with the kids (I have 2 nephews) so I'm not sure why she can't take one of the millions of those pictures for the cards.
They haven't even gone yet, so I guess she's going to pose near where Logan and I were and then move to the left a little? 
She's a super disney freak, so that's why it has to be Disney.

That bothers me even more. The dig was unnecessary.
And she wants YOU to photoshop yourself into their picture for her card?? Umm, I'd say I had computer problems and couldn't email the picture, much less edit photos for her.

Hmmm ok - I understand it, I think the photoshopping you guys in when you weren't there is a bit strange but I would still give in.
My aunt and uncle have to ALWAYS photoshop in one grandson because he is never with the rest of the grandkids when they take a family picture (they are basically non existent in our family)
I think it's weird, but it makes them happy to see their whole family together in a picture.
Did you guys have a strained relationship before Scott died?

I just don't see the big deal. Strange...yes, but nothing to think twice about. I think it's thoughtful that she wants to include you and her grandson in the family picture.
